3 Billion People Don’t Know Jesus

Together we can reach the world with the gospel

Impacting People Globally:

As a global ministry network, LHM proclaims the Gospel to the world through a unique ministry model. It is one that identifies and equips local laypeople to build their presence and impact using specific strategies and tactics contextual to the culture and language in which they serve.

Impacting People Through Digital Engagement:

Technology allows us to engage with others more efficiently and effectively than any other time in history, especially as people crave a relationship with God and each other. LHM intentionally invests in studying and applying approaches to reach the lost through digital engagement that is now being successfully fostered in many areas around the world.

Impacting People Right Where They Are:

What if every Christian saw his or her neighborhood as a mission field? When we start to see all people as gifts from God with gifts to share, we acknowledge our shared identity as children of God. Using our gifts can make a real difference where we are, among real people we see every day.

During His ministry on earth, Jesus not only taught and preached but also healed the sick and fed the hungry. LHM’s ministry centers follow His example, often incorporating “holistic” approaches to sharing the Gospel by attending to people’s physical and emotional needs as well as to their spiritual needs.

Since its introduction by LHM—Panama in 1996, Project JOEL has been recognized by the Ministry of Education in Panama and Guatemala for its positive impact on youth. It has also been implemented in other Latin American countries, including Argentina, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Paraguay.

Together we can reach the world with the Gospel.

Building upon its 100-plus-year history to move forward into the mission field,  Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) launched CONNECT as a crucial next step forward in achieving our shared vision and mission to reach the billions who still do not know Christ.

"LHM is a well-run operation. They do so much, and how they take the Barna research and present it in a clear manner is very well done. There is so much to absorb, and we are excited to dig deeper into these resources. It’s top notch."

Ashley Peters

"Ensuring future ministry is more important now than ever. Our future generations are going to need every ounce of help we can give them. This is an important part of the mission to reach these future generations."

Kyle Peters

"We wanted to get involved with CONNECT because we felt this was a great way that we could support LHM’s mission."

Caroline Koenig

"We know that Gospel proclamation is more important than anything else that we could get involved with. We know LHM is able to use the resources God has given us to effectively spread the Gospel around the world."

Jeret Koenig

"I wish more people understood that you receive so much by giving. Not just monetarily but through your time and efforts. It has been something that we get just as much if not more than we give."

Curt Drumm

"We know that any time we give our time, talents, or treasures to Lutheran Hour Ministries, they use them very effectively."

Diane Drumm

"LHM is helping individuals fulfill The Great Commission. We can’t do it all on our own, but together we can."

Faye Hall

"Everyone is in a different place, and I think it’s beautiful that Lutheran Hour Ministries has such a broad scope."

Jill Scifres

"The stewardship of the dollar is very important, and I think that the reach of stewardship extends further within Lutheran Hour Ministries than most other organizations I am familiar with."

Don Scifres
